Some further background regarding Agterplaas: Our guest house is not in the hustle and bustle of Melville, although within a few minutes’ walking distance from there, overlooking the Melville Koppies. The steps down the hillside to our establishment can only be accessed through a gate to which only our guests hold keys.

Melville has a wealth of good restaurants to explore during your time here, but meals can also be enjoyed in either our lovely dining room or al fresco on our patio: our chef serves excellent South African cuisine. Please consult with our office to make arrangements.
